Have you ever started a painting and ended up with something so different than you were intending to paint. I was doing some floral abstract using a half inflated balloon, pushing and twisting colors into a flower that looked like a pansy. After creating a canvas full of various pansies I started to study all the swirls and details when lo and behold a magical angel appeared to be painting a whimsical moose with a party favor in it's mouth! lol I thought that was the magical journey to explore and this is the final result of that inspiration! Makes me realize that getting off the beaten path of what you normally create can certainly open new explorations in the creative process!
